As a United Way Funded Partner there are some marketing and branding requirements to follow. Branding United Way is a win-win situation. United Way is talking about the good work that you do and raising dollars to help continue the vital programming you administer. It is good for both United Way and your agency to use correct branding.

United Way asks that as a funded partner, United Way be mentioned in all media releases.

The United Way of Southwest Michigan logo must be present or United Way must be mentioned in as many of the following ways as possible:

  • Places of operation visited by customers/clients where funded program(s) take place.

  • Collateral/printed materials for the funded program, such as newsletters, brochures, etc.

  • Identification on website and link to uwsm.org.

  • Listings of organization and program funders, including annual report.

  • Press releases about the funded program(s).

  • Special events (e.g., annual meetings, fundraising events, etc.).

NOTE: If a partner is funded by more than one United Way, each must be identified separately.
