High-school seniors in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties with a record of volunteerism were awarded a $1,000 scholarship toward post-secondary credentials.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is an early childhood literacy program offered by UWSM in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren, in partnership with the Dollywood Foundation.

UWSM is seeking nominations of volunteers for recognition at the organization’s annual Volunteer Recognition Event, to be held in early summer.

The Margaret B. Upton Volunteer Leadership Award is given to one outstanding volunteer in Berrien County who has a long history of service.

This new lifetime achievement award is named in honor of Cass County’s Judge Susan L. Dobrich.
