LANSING, MICH. – United Way of Southwest Michigan today participated in the statewide launch of a new storytelling campaign, “United We Will,” to share its COVID-19 response stories and the efforts of United Ways across the state amid COVID-19. The stories can be viewed at www.unitedwewillmi.org.

The investment of $150,000 is the largest single one-time investment UWSM has made in over a decade.

United Way of Southwest Michigan is honored to announce that its Senior Director of Impact Strategies, Amanda Drew, has been selected to participate in the prestigious United Way Worldwide Fellowship Program. In light of developing public health concerns, United Way of Southwest Michigan plans to bring its annual Celebration to the community in creative fashion. Originally scheduled to have been held on Thursday, March 19 at the Grand Upton Hall at Lake Michigan College, UWSM’s Celebration will take a different form, never tried before, in deference to the guidelines of public health officials, at a later date.
