What inspired you to become a part of United Way?

As a donor, United Way was a great way to ensure my dollars went to the highest and best use for the community.

Why do you serve on the board?

I hope to contribute to the ongoing great work of United Way.

What is your leadership philosophy?

Focus on driving impact/outcomes (vs. tasks/inputs), along with strong values. 

What is your most memorable volunteer experience?

Helping obtain legal guardianship for children whose parents were not available to them. The immediate and meaningful impact for the families was so rewarding to see.

Who are your heroes in real life?

The dedicated and talented staff and volunteers of United Way!

What talent would you most like to have?

I’d like to play the guitar.
