Campaign Relationship Coordinator (Part-Time)
United Way of Southwest Michigan is looking to add a part-time Campaign Relationship Coordinator to its team. This Coordinator will effectively execute various aspects of United Way’s Annual Fundraising functions and provide support with implementing strategies for workplace campaigns and customer relationship activities to increase resources and relationships. The best candidate will have excellent planning skills and be able to communicate effectively to both small and large audiences; is confident, can work both as a self-directed individual and a team player and will have a high proficiency with Microsoft Windows suite. An associate’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent coursework or a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered. Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or fundraising. POSITION OVERVIEW:
A Campaign Relationship Coordinator will effectively execute various functions of United Way’s Annual Fundraising functions; support the Senior Director and Annual Campaign with implementing strategies for workplace campaign and customer relationship activities to increase resources and relationships. The coordinator will work to create partnership, alignment and a shared accountability for United Way’s community outcomes, between the departments of Impact and Development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Build and retain relationships with Employee Campaign Coordinators of assigned corporate partners to effectively run workplace campaigns, as assigned.
· Help create and execute an annual strategic fundraising plan that advances community impact work.
· Provide support for the Corporate Engagement program with workplace based corporate partners.
· Be knowledgeable of Community Impact work to share with employees at workplace campaigns.
· Deliver and pick up campaign material.
· Track and provide progress updates of assigned campaigns.
· Manage all campaign work in ANDAR CRM database.
· Provides additional support to co-workers within the Resource Sustainability team as needed.
· Where possible, support all key United Way local events (attend, work role, etc).
· Attend weekly sync sessions, bi-weekly RS meetings, and monthly staff meetings.
· Track hours on an assigned timecard system or spreadsheet to turn in bi-weekly.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Ability to think strategically and apply problem-solving skills with a foundational understanding of business operations.
· Demonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing creative and innovative solutions.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture effective partnerships.
· Clear and confident communicator, comfortable speaking in front of both small groups and larger audiences.
· Competent in using campaign-related databases to maintain accurate records, with the ability to analyze and interpret data, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Able to work independently with minimal oversight while also contributing positively as part of a team.
· Well-organized and efficient, with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
· Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
· Reliable transportation for frequent travel across the region. Use of a personal motor vehicle for transportation requires proof of insurance and the driver must have a valid driver’s license.
· Occasional work outside of normal business hours.
· Moderate level of stress caused form tight deadlines.
· Successful completion of a criminal background check.
· Candidate must be able to work successfully in a remote environment with private office space and high-speed internet.
SALARY
All the roles within UWSM have pay ranges that commensurate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate. The salary for this position is determined by the candidate’s experience.
