Volunteer Engagement Project Coordinator

Accountable to: Volunteer Engagement Manager

NON-EXEMPT         

Job Summary: The Volunteer Engagement Project Coordinator will support execution of strategic volunteer engagement plan

DUTIES:

  • Manage execution of Days of Action

  • Manage execution of Volunteer Recognition Event

  • Manage day-to-day utilization of applicable databases for volunteerism tracking (Andar and Galaxy)

  • Provide support to Volunteer Engagement Manager and Director of Engagement, as needed

  • Provide support to all departments, as needed 

Other Assigned Duties:

  • Support all key UWSM events

  • Represent United Way at key community events, as assigned

  • Ability to seek creative and innovative solutions

  • Ability to build and create partnerships

  • Ability to community effectively, including small and large audiences through public speaking

  • Ability to effectively and accurately work in related databases to ensure accurate data records are maintained, and to analyze and interpret statistical data; have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint programs

  • Ability to work as both a self-directed individual and a team player

  • Ability to manage own time and is well organized

  • Possess a strong ability to maintain confidentiality & discretion

  • Presents a high degree of maturity and self-confidence

Education Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in business, communications or related field

Experience Required:

  • One to three years of project management experience

Other Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance

  • Physical requirements may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time

  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends as required to fill the duties of the position

PART-TIME Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Core Function Area:  Administration

PART TIME (up to 20 hours per week)   

Accountable to: Marketing & Communications Manager

Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator will support execution of comprehensive marketing and communication plan

DUTIES:

  • Manage execution of social media and website strategies

  • Provide support to Marketing and Communications Manager and Director of Engagement, as needed

  • Provide updated information when required to the Marketing and Communications Manager

  • Provide support to all departments, as needed

Other Assigned Duties:

  • Support all key UWSM events

  • Represent United Way at key community events
