When people and businesses come together to support their community, great things happen. It takes all of us working side by side to help create the community we all want to be a part of - whether it’s your neighborhood, hometown, school, city or county, community means something special to everyone. As volunteers and advocates for the work UWSM does, we wanted to come up with a way to educate and involve the entire community.
To help support those in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties, United Way of Southwest Michigan is launching it’s first ever Dine United! Starting in October, and running 8 consecutive Thursdays throughout Southwest Michigan, we are partnering with local restaurants for a Dine United give back night. A different area will be featured each week - which provides all of us in Southwest Michigan the opportunity to support our local communities.
